ALBION, NE- The 135th Boone County Fair is underway which means Boone County Raceway is gearing up for the biggest night of the 2019 season.
For the first time since 2016, the Malvern Bank Super Late Models will invade the Boone County Raceway. 30 to 40 late models will be making their way to Albion to compete for the $2,000 prize in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd. Watch Johnson and other locals once again go head to head with some of the top series drivers in current points leader Kyle Berck, along with Nick Deal, Bill Leighton, Ben Schaller, Tad Pospisil and others.
Also on the card will be Kelly's Heating & Air IMCA Sport Modifieds and Sharp Plumbing IMCA Sport Compacts. Both will be running under the Draw/Redraw format and racing for IMCA State, Regional, and National Points. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:00pm with Racing at 7:30pm. Adults are $25, 6 to 12 is $10, while 5 and under are free.
