ALBION, NE- The 2019 race season will officially come to an end this Friday as Boone County Raceway brings you Corn Growers Association Championship night featuring IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts, and IMCA Late Models.
In the Sharp Plumbing IMCA Sport Compact division, Parker Vollbrecht has a commanding points lead over 2nd place Shaylyn Cornwell but a number of other classes will come down to the final race.
In the Big Daddy Race Car IMCA Hobby Stocks Jeff Ware leads Ryan Fajman by 8 points going into the final night.
In the first season of IMCA Late Models it's Cory Dumpert leading by 6 points over 2nd place Jim Johnson and 11 points ahead of 3rd place Zach Zentner.
Tightest points battles to watch will include the Kelly's Heating & Air IMCA Sport Modifieds where 5 different drivers could come away with the points title including points leader Robbie Thome who is 3 points ahead of both Cameron Meyer and David Johnson, 4 points ahead of James Roebuck, and 5 points ahead of Shawn Kelley.
Finally in the Big Daddy Race Car IMCA Stock Cars it will come down to 4 drivers with Austin Brauner leading the points with Dave Langan 3 points behind, Jason Wilkinson 4 points, and Kyle Kraus 7 points.
Of course Friday will also be Fireman and Safety Crew Night that will include a free will donation BBQ after the races in the pits. There will be no registration fee for cars.
Adults are $12.00, 6 to 18 are $5.00, and 5 & Under are Free. Hot Laps at 7:30pm with racing at 8:00pm. Happy Hour will run from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
