ALBION, NE- Boone County Raceway is set to kick off the 2020 race season Friday, June 19. Hot laps will be at 7:30 p.m. with racing starting at 8:00 p.m. sharp. We will also be honoring our firemen and safety crew with a free will donation in the stands. Because of restrictions set in place by District Health Measures, attendance will be limited. Grand Stand attendance will be limited to 499 people while each race team will be allowed up to 6 people per trailer including driver.
Grand Stand admission will be $10 for ages 6 and up. Grand Stand tickets will be pre-sold at boonecountyraceway.com. If the 499 isn't made up from pre-sale tickets, a supply of tickets will be available at the front gate at $15 for ages 6 & up, but will be limited. Pit admission will be $25 for ages 13 and up while 12 and under will be $15. There will be no registration fees for drivers and classes include Sharp Plumbing IMCA Hobby Stocks, Big Daddy Race Car IMCA Stock Cars, Thomas Construction IMCA Sport Modifieds, along with IMCA Late Models.
We are putting health measures in place for everyone's safety. Those measures include hand sanitizer at multiple locations throughout the facility. We will have staff sanitizing bathrooms throughout the night. Trash bags will be handed out to every fan in the stands and every race team in the pits and both are asked to take care of ANY trash that is created throughout the night for everyone's safety and especially the safety of our employees who have to clean up at the end of the night. PLEASE take the time to clean up after yourself.
Fans are encouraged not to attend the races if they have been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as Fever, Shortness of Breath or Cough. If you have pre-existing health conditions or are considered “at risk” we recommend not attending.
Please know we will be doing everything we can to make Friday's safe and stay as close to normal as possible for everyone. Price changes are only temporary and not reflective of a normal race season.
